Another 50 hour week has passed me by.
Winter still keeps it's grip upon the land.
I'm still fat and grey.
I've joined a garden chat forum on the web.
Getting ready for spring should it ever arrive.
Other than that.....nothing.

Ah...the grip of Old Man Winter - he's a mighty strong bugger, eh! Damnations anyway! His wife, Mother Nature isn't much better...while you're under his grip I'm stuck in her spit! Rain, rain, rain and more rain. Did I mention the rain...yes, lots of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to your posts on gardening...any early tips for those of us not under 50 feet of snow! I'm smiling because my tulip bulb are up, not in bloom yet, but they managed to survive my "planting" skills - first time for me! (I can hear you laughing)
Anyway...I'm thinking of a new shrub or flowering bush of some sort but not sure what does well on an east wall with lots of west sun. If you come up with suggestions - either post about it or drop me a note!
I hope "the grip" loosens and that Spring finally makes it to your neck of the woods!
With smiles, Jenny
Snow in the forecast for tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think that Punxsutawney Phil is full of crap.
