V is for Mary

Today's post is brought to you by the letter V and the category of Recipes

Did somebody say Venison?

Or was it Veal?

Perhaps it could have been Velveeta? (Hope not)

Vinegar, Vegetable, Vanilla, Vermicelli, Vienna wieners?

Oh no, not here, let’s do something a little bit more fun!

Vodka!

More specifically my famous Bloody Mary.

You will need:

Tall glass with plenty of ice
Double or triple shot of vodka (how big is your glass?)
Your favorite bloody Mary mix.  ( I use Mrs. T’s)
1 Celery stick
3 Spiced Dilly Beans
2 Jumbo Olives
1 Pickle spear
1 Strip of cooked bacon
2 Dashes of Tabasco
3 Shakes of creole seasoning

A few friends

The rest is self-explanatory!

  1. These look good! Never associated bacon with Bloody Mary's before :)

(in answer to your recent comment; you are right, Montana is such a beautiful state; enjoyed our time in it and visited Bozeman a few times; we were in Billings, about 2 hours south of it; now we are in Arizona but I do very fondly remember and enjoyed our time there :)

  3. Never heard of a dilly bean before in my life. Interesting combo with that bacon.

  4. My parents love that drink. I think you could add just about any food as a garnish. Well, maybe not bread. That would be soggy.
