H is for Early

Hello there,

Welcome to the High Cost of this Low Living and the A to Z challenge where participants post every day except Sundays during the month of April which coincidentally coincides with the number of days in the month.

So today's letter is H

While I stated I was not following a direct theme you can see that it is not too far off a one track blog right now.

Which brings me to Saturday...and H.

Ready?

I received a call Thursday during work from my sweet, sassy and pregnant wife.  She was having some mild contractions and the Dr wanted her to head for the maternity ward to be monitored - just in case.

I left work, met her at home, gathered our stuff (and the babies, just in case) and headed up there.

After a few hours of monitoring and the Dr.s deciding what was what and why the wherefores might actually be withertoos it was decided we were GOING TO HAVE A BABY right then and there.

Smack me silly batman, I think I'm gonna faint.

I was a little shocked to say tghe least.  I figured they would just be some small, non-trivial contractions and we would be sent home and she would be confined to bed.  NOT!

So to make a long story short, may I present to you;

Miss Corabella Rose Bushman

Weighing in at 5 lbs and 8 ounces and a solid 18 inches long.
Born at 5:05 Thursday the 7th of April in the year of 2016

So what does this have to do with the letter H?

How's this:
Hospital
Here
Heartthrob
Happy

Really who cares about H.  let's go back to to C!

She is the most amazing thing I have ever laid eyes upon.  I cry every time she looks at me because  I know we are meant to be together.  She is my life now.  My forever.  My undying love.

Corabella, Daddy loves you so much his heart aches every time I see you and every time I think about you!

  5. She is so tiny and oh so cute - your little bundle of happiness is actually in your arms. May you always cherish these precious moments. I hope Angel is resting and recovering. Before you know it you'll all be home and settling in to the new nursery.

Also, I'm so happy your Pop was still around for this amazing miracle. I hope he's going to be well enough to come see Corabella soon.

    Hugs and smiles all around.

  12. Congratulations to you both! She is such a cute bundle but she won't thank you for celebrating her birth when she reaches 21 (or 18).
