Where Did Winter Go?

"Ummm....March?"

"Are you still there?"

"Where are you going so fast?  I'm not ready for April."

As a matter of fact, I'm not ready for tomorrow.

What happened to my long, dull winter?  You know, the one that drags on and on?  When February arrives it lasts 67 days and March takes 50?

I was going to write a book this winter.
I was going to have all my A to Z posts finished this winter.
I was going to do so many things this winter and now it's Spring.

So I made a new list for Spring of things to do.

No that's not the one, although that IS one!

Here it is:

Work on book
Finish A to Z posts
Read a book
Start seeds
Prep garden
Read a book
Add more chickens
Work on book
Replace French doors with slider
Build Pergola over the upper deck
Read a book
Work on book
See list above this one
Secure pork and beef
Plant garden
Clean yard
Fix truck cap
Wax truck

You get the idea.  I could go on and on.

So now that Spring is here I guess I'll get busy.

Have you been caught with your pants down like me?

Peace Out
-Bushman

  1. The season doesn't seem to matter for me the past several years - I always have a long to-do list! When I get one thing done two more appear on the list - aagh! I'm just trying to take it one step at a time and do what I can.

    1. Thanks for stopping by. Even if I don't have something pop up on my list I usually find a way to add one anyways.

  3. It is spring tomorrow! Kind of snuck up, but then we didn't have the extreme weather like you and so many did! Seems like you got a good list of things to accomplish in the months ahead :)

  4. Hey Bushman,
I'm liking the new look - fits your site beautifully - and look at those 3 columns… hehehehe Mighty spiffy I do declare.

Love the list, glad it's yours. And, isn't it grand that Al's got a date with Old Man Winter… lucky dude, eh! hahahaha

Well… that's all from my side of the planet. Lots of rain, I missed not having a snowfall (hear that Al) but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Probably means we'll have a shit summer. (geez, look at that language, some peoples kids…)

    Here's to Friday… hope it's productive. Well, I hope you're productive in it. :)

  5. I too have been caught with my pants down but that's another post for a different day...LOL. Seriously, time just seems to go by faster and faster the older I get. It was just Christmas and we're almost to Easter now. Was I sleeping?
